Legal basis and responsibility boundaries

Independence and role separation are mandatory.

Technical supervision does not perform contractor or author-supervision duties and does not make their production decisions. Certified specialist mix, work categories, attendance and notification procedure are confirmed from the asset characteristics before appointment.

ALMECO’s approach draws on the founder’s personal experience in EPC, PMC, design, construction, technical supervision, QA/QC, industrial facilities and infrastructure. This includes professional work completed before and outside ALMECO assignments and is not presented as a portfolio of projects delivered by the company.

Questions before appointment

What should be agreed at the outset

Does technical supervision guarantee that there will be no defects?

No. It reduces risk through defined checks and evidence, but does not remove the contractor’s quality responsibility and cannot discover work concealed before appointment or outside the agreed inspection frequency.

What information is needed for an initial assessment?

A short asset and stage description, location, intended scope, available design and permit records, target dates and the main issue are usually enough. After review, ALMECO issues a focused list of missing inputs.

How are fee and duration determined?

They are confirmed after reviewing the inputs and asset responsibility category. Key drivers include disciplines and specialist team, scale and complexity, site visits, programme, document volume, number of parties and required control depth.

Can this service be appointed separately?

Yes. ALMECO may perform one function or include it in an agreed technical-customer, PMC or Owner’s Engineer model. Roles and potential conflicts are checked before appointment.
